Looking for a night out in Cardiff that serves up fun, food and a little friendly competition? Flight Club Cardiff might just be your new favourite destination. Richard and Nadya spent an evening on the buzzing roof terrace and shared why this social darts venue keeps them coming back.

Arriving just after 6pm, Richard and Nadya were greeted in signature Flight Club style – with a smile and a glass of prosecco. “The welcome was lovely as always,” said Richard. “Nadya had a non-alcoholic fizz, and we were looked after from the moment we stepped in.”

The roof terrace was the perfect setting for a spring evening, with a DJ spinning upbeat tracks and guests mingling over cocktails and small plates. “It’s always got a great energy,” said Nadya. “You feel like you’re part of something from the second you walk in.”

Food-wise, the couple were spoiled for choice. A steady flow of small bites came their way: South Korean pork belly with chilli and honey, spiced cauliflower wings, chicken tikka skewers, pizzas and even Middle Eastern sliders with plant-based lamb. “There were loads of gluten-free options too,” noted Nadya. “And everything was really flavourful – the cauliflower wings were incredible.”

Between bites, there was no shortage of drinks. Prosecco was plentiful and the cocktail list delivered with flair. Richard’s pick? “The Lady Luck – a mix of hibiscus vodka, strawberry and Prosecco Rosato – was bang on.” Nadya, preferring a booze-free evening, raved about the mocktails. “Spring Passion with mint, passion fruit and rose lemonade was my favourite – so refreshing.”

But the main event? The darts, of course. “We were so into the game we actually missed dessert,” laughed Richard. “That never happens. We’re both really competitive – it’s such a fun way to spend an evening.”

As the night drew to a close, Richard summed it up best: “Flight Club is one of our top spots in Cardiff – whether it’s date night or drinks with friends. The atmosphere, the food, the service – it just works.”
