Run by the extremely likeable and ever-helpful Ali, Tortoise Music Exchange is a real Cardiff Gem. Service is always excellent and Ali is genuinely passionate about music and instruments being a player himself. If you need a guitar or bass tuned or repaired, you’ll be in safe hands.
Additionally, being based in the brilliant Jacob’s Market means a visit there is never dull and usually ends up being at least twenty minutes as you have a good look around the stalls. There’s a great cafe on site too.
