Richard, one of our City Life team, visited with his wife Nadya and their baby Luca on a particularly wet afternoon – perfect timing for an honest review. “It was pouring down so we were glad to get inside,” he told us. “Bru has a very funky interior… lots of interesting design accents, great attention to detail.”

A Team That Really Cares
Richard and Nadya were full of praise for Noman, the owner of Bru: “Such a nice guy… he’s definitely been tested with the venture due to a leaking ceiling which flooded the whole place soon after opening. He’s worked (and paid) tirelessly.”
The staff were friendly, helpful and especially accommodating with baby Luca – a big win for young families.
Service was described as timely, warm and faultless.
Atmosphere
Relaxed, Cosy and Perfect on a Rainy Day
Despite visiting during a quieter period, the ambience was just right. “It wasn’t too busy, but the atmosphere was relaxed, with the sound of the rain outside – bliss.”
Final Thoughts
A Standout Cardiff Brunch Spot. Richard and Nadya left already planning their return. “We couldn’t fault a single thing… everything we ate and drank was amazing. We can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.”
