I Giardini di Sorrento was judged as the winner of the Welsh Italian Awards 2017 Best Restaurant on Sunday November 26th 2017 at a prestigious awards ceremony at Cardiff’s Mercure Hotel.
The restaurant also achieved runner up in the Welsh Italian Best Pasta 2017 award following a morning cook off judged by the acclaimed Aldo Zilli and Franco Taruschio – an honour for any Italian.
The awards celebrate the commitment and hard work of the best professionals and businesses in the Welsh hospitality industry. Thousands of nominations were received from the Welsh public over the past months to provide the list of finalists.
In a little over eighteen months the restaurant has amassed some serious recognition, including:
South Wales Echo Food and Drink Awards acknowledging them in their award for one of the best restaurants in south Wales
Winner of Local Link Start Up Business of the Year 2017
Winner Welsh Hospitality Awards – Best Family Dining Restaurant 2017
